《毛毛與矮矮》第三號：生活的點點滴滴

　　Furrie and Shortie are two characters created by ampulets. As their names suggest, one is very short and one Is extremely furry. This comics trilogy is sometimes charming, sometimes moving, but at all times, silly.

　　In the final issue “Be with Me/ 生活的點點滴滴”, they take a holiday to that beautiful island of Taiwan where they fall in love with being alive. Published during the pandemic and featuring full-colour spreads, this issue indulges both our desire for the foreign and our longing for being at home with ourselves.

　　Ampulets was a design studio founded by James Teo (1972-2019). It is also the moniker used by James and Yvonne Tham for independent art and design projects. Outside her day job, Yvonne continues to write and draw as ampulets. Publications by ampulets include art books “Goodbye Time” (2012) and “A Day to Wake Up to/ 我們一起醒來的那一天” (2021); comics trilogy Furrie and Shortie (2016-2020) and handmade comic “Only Grace” (2021); as well as an illustrated book based on the animated short “You Can Take A Break/ 休息一下嗎” (2018).
