Artist bio
Shanlyn is an artist/illustrator and a part-time art educator based in Singapore. From science to design course, from disliking to breathing in art, she found the best platform where she can channel her inner random and quirky thoughts, bringing out the little kid in her. Plants, people, mushrooms and cats (even though she doesn’t have a green finger or cat) are her frequent drawn subjects, as well as humanizing objects into imaginaries beings. These beings live in a village called Mushroom Mountain 蘑菇山山, where Shanlyn has an alternative identity, the Mushroom Village Chief, 蘑菇村長! Let’s put a smile on your face with her drawings!
